In 2016, the Ukrainian Berry opened the Qatar market for the first time, where they were able to make the first deliveries of fresh blueberries and raspberries. This year, the company took part in a trade mission to Dubai (UAE), during which it was possible to hold talks on cooperation with partners from the Middle East.

In 2019, Ukrainian Berry plans to increase the area under strawberry plantations by another 5 hectares, expanding the total area to 10 hectares. In addition, the first strawberry harvest at the level of 80-100 tons is expected. The company has a GlobalGap quality certificate, which makes it possible to enter new export markets.
The cultivation of berries, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, is today considered the most promising sector of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex in terms of the development of small farming, cooperation, export growth and for entering new markets.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, today there are almost 22 thousand hectares for planting berries, including all farms, and there are 6.3 thousand hectares in the commercial sector.

In 2018, Ukraine produced a total of more than 138 thousand tons of berries, taking into account all categories of farms. At the same time, only 15.3 tons of berries were produced in agricultural commercial enterprises.

There is an active growth trend that has been observed for the past 5 years, especially in exports. In 2014, the export of berries was $ 7 million more. In 2018, this figure reached $ 33 million. It all depends on the consistency and type of berries. Today, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are the most sought after. But at the same time, more and more manufacturers of exotic berries appear and they are actively exported.
